Wow...am I feeling sorry for myself today, or what? My neck hurts because I slept on it wrong. My face hurts because apparently puberty sometimes happens twice. I don't have enough money. I want to cut my hair and can't. 

Thank you blog for letting me get this out. I might have lost it otherwise.

slow.

The wedding planning is...coming along. But I must say, I am absolutely horrible at this! I wish I could just have someone do it for me. But, I cannot. I also wish I could be going to see Eclipse right about now. But I cannot do that either. Boo.

Freak out.

Well things on the wedding front have slowed down considerably. I picked the bridesmaids dresses. Still have lots to do though and with less than 5 months now it seems like it might be impossible. Still need a DJ, the flowers, favors....and can't forget money!!
I'm going to go read though since this fantasy world is much better than the real one.

slacking

I am absolutely AWFUL at keeping up with this thing. I know there isn't really anyone else who reads it I would just like to have it as a record. But...I digress...

Sooo...I bought my wedding dress last Friday!!! This whole wedding thing is really moving right along. I mean, there is still a lot to do and even more to still pay for (argh) but we've got two really big things out of the way and that, in my book is just FANTASTIC!

My mom mentioned to me today how Roses mean Love (this is in response to my severe distaste for roses). So I decide to look up other flowers that mean love. In the process I look up what hydrangeas mean (my fave for the wedding) and wouldn't you know, this is what it says:
HYDRANGEA: Thank you for understanding, frigidity, heartlessness, heartless.

Wha, wha WHAT!? Well that just won't do. But after some convincing from my mom, i've decided to stick with them. After all, they are so darn pretty.

Kove

so we booked a place for the wedding!!!!!!! It's officially October 9 6om at Kove catering in Edgewater Park NJ. The place is awesome. I would have probably never seen it if they didn't completely screw me over at the Country House...
So I show up for the appointment at 3pm.
Then Sandy sits down to verify the date we were looking for and I thought that was weird because Hillary had told both her and Patty.
We look at the book and...wouldn't you know...there's something booked on October 9 at 7 pm!
Long, retarded story short...they asked if we would switch our date, I almost caved, Jon showed his backbone, didn't give in. We told them to call us if anything changes....And then...
My mom convinced me to go look at Kove catering and I loved it!
Kristine was so accommodating it's ridiculous. We sat and met with her, told her we would think about it
Called her back on Sunday and met up with her and gave her the deposit!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy!!!!

shape? in or out?

So I just tried working out for the first time in a long time.
I am completely OUT OF SHAPE.
This doesn't come as a total shock to me.
I've definitely let myself go.
But dang...I made it through 20 minutes of this work out.
I need to not be lazy.
I can do this.
No more cheetos.

Fake lime slices

Did you know you could order fake lime slices online? Actually you can order pretty much any fake food online. Decaf coffee for instance... How, if its fake and you aren't drinking it, can you tell its decaf? Looking up things for centerpieces for the wedding is fun...and finding things like this makes it better!
We finally get to look at a place for  the wedding this weekend. I'm so excited! It will feel more real once we have a place. Then I can really start getting centerpiece, flowers, decorations etc.

remember...

I really hope people remember that our wedding is about us...not them.
We make decisions based on what we want and what makes us happy.
If you don't like it...Then there really isn't anything I can do to change that.

Things might be coming together for the wedding. My fantastic maid of honor Hillary told me that she visited the Country House today and got the menu. It looks promising :) I will feel so much better when we have a place booked.

we are getting married on 10/9/10 and i can't help but think we wont be able to get this planned in time....ah
